Civil Rights & Personal Injury Attorney
Mr. Krulewitch has labored in the trenches as a trial attorney for almost a quarter century in the Seattle-King County area. After Mr. Krulewitch became admitted to practice law in the State of Washington, from May 1988 to January 1995, he worked at The Defender Association as a staff attorney, working in the misdemeanor, felony, juvenile, and civil commitment divisions. During his time at The Defender Association, he handled hundreds of criminal cases and went to trial often, accumulating valuable experience as a trial practitioner, where he honed his skills and obtained many fine results for his clients.
Mr. Krulewitch left the The Defender Association in 1995 and opened his own law practice as a sole practitioner. For many years, while in private practice, Mr. Krulewitch has handled a variety of personal injury cases, civil rights cases, as well as criminal cases, obtaining many great results on his cases. Presently, Mr. Krulewitch restricts his practice to handling serious injury and wrongful death cases involving police misconduct, jail and prison misconduct, and personal injury, including wrongful death cases, catastrophic injury cases, and brain injury and PTSD Cases.
During his time in private practice, he has handled cases in King County Superior Court Snohomish County Superior Court, Pierce County Superior Court, Thurston County Superior Court, Kitsap County Superior Court, Island County Superior Court, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Mr. Krulewitch enjoys handling cases throughout the State of Washington, but especially in the Puget Sound Region.
My Philosophy & Approach
I am a trial lawyer, pure and simple. My law practice is aimed at attending to the needs of everyday folk, people who may have been injured by the negligence or wrongful conduct of individuals, corporations, cities, counties, or other governmental entities and who need a tremendous personal injury attorney, or people who have suffered constitutional wrongs or violations at the hands of law enforcement, the police, and need a great civil rights attorney.
I regularly take cases in each of these three broad areas and endeavor to do my very best on behalf of each client. If you are looking for a legal champion to be your advocate, a small firm, yet a firm that is steeped in the knowledge of the law, battle-tested in court, experienced in the above areas, someone capable of being a zealous advocate for you on your particular matter, where your case will be given the utmost attention it deserves, then you have come to the right place.
Just like the knights of old, Jay Krulewitch stands ready to battle on your behalf, to assist you on your matter, to bring to bear over thirty seven years of experience in the trenches to your matter with care, compassion, professionalism, and diligence. We make no promises at my law firm other than we will give your matter our very best attention as we seek to obtain the very best result possible in your own particular matter.
